About Calleja

I'm Kirra , founder of Calleja Surf Hair, hairstylist, and someone who has spent 25 years chasing waves on the Sunshine Coast.

The ocean isn't just where I surf. It's where I think, reset, and feel most like myself. Salt, sunlight, and the sound of water , that's home.

One day after a session, I was standing in the shower working a regular conditioner through my wrecked, salt-stiff hair, and I had the most obvious thought I'd ever had:

Why has no one made something for this?

Not a weekly deep treatment. Not a styling product. Something you use every single time you get out of the water. Something designed for the way active women actually live I n and out of the ocean, the pool, the sauna, the hot Pilates room, the snow.

I'd spent 18 years behind the chair. I'd seen what salt, chlorine, and UV exposure really do to hair up close, both in the lineup and at the basin. I knew which ingredients actually repair and which ones just smell good. And I knew that nobody had built the right thing yet.

So I did.

Calleja Surf Hair is two products with one purpose- protect before, restore after.

Every formula is sulphate free, paraben free, vegan, organic, and reef safe. Because caring for the ocean is as important as caring for your hair. Small batch, made right here in Australia, on my home soil, the Sunshine Coast.

This brand isn't about perfect hair. It's about healthy hair that lets you live the life you love, without compromise.
